This contrast colors combination make the house’s interior design look more attractive. The textures also have the contribution to make this contemporary interior design live. It’s crashed but arranged so beautiful scene appears. Lake Placid Blue granite countertops contrast nicely with the high gloss yellow Tay exotic veneer cabinetry and colors taken from a Manuel Canovas fabric bring the overall effect into the family of abstract art. Glass House Frames Luxurious

Remuera, a quiet suburb of Auckland, New Zealand, is the home of this contemporary, glass house – a modern beacon among its natural surroundings. This sleek design by Hillery Priest Architecture features expansive windows outlined by bold frames that punctuate their contemporary, geometric shape. A large outdoor deck area overlooks the pool. This modern architectural marvel boasts five bedrooms and five baths, spread out among spacious, open-concept interiors that, like the view from the exterior, bring focus primarily to the windows. But when not peering out into nature, the eye roams across tall angled ceilings, warm woods and rich details throughout.

Haus Gross in Greifensee, Switzerland, looks like a typical house by all accounts. But this modern and inventive design proves that looks can be deceiving. This understated, low-profile house holds a buried treasure in the form of an underground living space. The 721-sq.-ft. sub-grade home addition includes two sunken open-air courtyards leading into the three children’s bedrooms, a bathroom and a state-of-the-art home theater for private film screenings. A two-storey glazed façade lets light flood every corner, above ground and below.

A holiday home with three bedrooms, a social bathroom, a living room, a dinning room, a small kitchen with a support washbasin, pantry, and even a small outdoor swimming pool.
This road leads to the northern higher part of the lot. The roof functions simultaneously as pavement support for the gardens: similar to the traditional threshing floors and patios in the northern regions of the country with hilly terrain.

The terrain’s instability together with modest economic resources gave rise to a house with triple function: the home itself and its interior space; the organization of outdoor leveled patios corresponding to the roofs of various levels which permit the outdoor use of the garden; and finally, the creation of a pedestrian link between the paths of the upper and lower levels that border this lot. The exterior stairs that create a link between the patios mirror the interior stairs that have the same function of linking the designed compartments that are also developed through levels. In this way, the exterior stairs correspond to the interior ceilings.

Whimsical Wooden Tree House

Architect Robert Harvey Oshatz has created this awesome, artistic piece of architecture in the woods of Portland, Oregon, for a client who’s love of music would be translated into a modern home. The main living level of this contemporary tree house sits in the canopy, among lush green leaves with the dewy earth rolling out below. According to the architect, “One has to actually stroll through the house to capture its complexities and its connection to the exterior with the use of a natural wood ceiling floating on curving laminated wood beams which pass through a generous glass wall which wraps around the main living room. Glass Home Hangs - Japanese Home Design
Like a bird nest, Japanese Glass home designed by TNA Architects.

The contemporary, curved weekend house reaches off the hillside and around the trees, connecting to the other side. Inside, the house takes shape as an elongated floor plan, where one area of the home opens onto the other, separated by walls of glass. Apart from glass, the main material of choice for both the interior and exterior is wood. And true to this Japanese architect’s signature style, interiors are furnished with a minimal, modern edge. When you enter the site you see the house hidden behind nature without any constructed way to the entrance which makes it look even more as an isolated element in space. This ` surprise element ‘ (Montesquieu) contributes to stimulate the observer and its perception of the relation between the space and the house. The architectonic experience is made to the base of sensorial stimulations. The entrance is a covered exterior space that gives access to the garage and to the interior of the house. The stairs lead to the entry hall that separates the veranda from the living room. Each space has a different relation with the surroundings which confers a unique identity to them. The opened veranda, protected by the trees, is a place of libation of nature, where we get lost inside ourselves.

The bedroom’s area consists of two identical nucleuses with a hall, two rooms and bathroom. The house is made of concrete, used as a constructive and finishing element, searching a hard materiality and contrasting aesthetics with the chromatic and textural diversity of nature that encircles it. On the inside, this contrast is emphasized through the neutral color that coat walls and ceiling and by the ‘monotonous’ way that space is designed.
